Colorectal Surgery Training Program for Senior Physicians Successfully Launched in Guangzhou

From November 4 to 9, 2014, the Colorectal Surgery Training Program for senior physicians successfully launched in Guangzhou at the Sixth Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yet-Sen University (also known as the Guangdong Gastrointestinal Hospital). The program was jointly organized by Xian Janssen and the Coloproctology Association of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine of China.

Colorectal surgery experts joined the sessions to discuss best practices and new developments in the treatment of colorectal disease, share cases, observe surgeries, and visit wards. Through the use of technology, a number of clinicians were able to join the sessions remotely, increasing the reach and impact of the program.
